Those "EcoFarm Replicating Onions" I bought a bundle of from Jon and Debbie Butts last fall at Twilight Market have done very well even though I rarely water that bed and are definitely multiplying underground. But I was VERY surprised to notice today that each is sending up a viviparous stalk vs. a flower stalk, almost like a mini-Egyptian Multiplier or Allium canadense! It is going to be fun seeing what these stalks do. I like the fact that they grow year round vs. dying back in late spring like other replicating onions do. Good flavor too, both above and below ground.
