I want to get a big fish and try this recipe as I love pickled herring.

  1. Pickled herring is great. I had it for the first time this Christmas at a Swedish friend's house. I'd eat it regularly. I'll bet tilapia would be good, too.

  2. I'm guessing that any mild flavored fish could be pickled....I wonder if our local mullets might be too strong.
