Onions from Seeds

Many people are like me and simply can't cook without onions...I use at least two 3 lb. bags per month plus grow various Alliums in my gardens. Tightwad gardeners like me flinch at the cost of onion sets, but often fail with them from seeds if directly sown into the garden. But they are VERY easy from seeds if sown into a small pot in loose rich damp soil. Once the seedlings are big enough to handle and separate, you then transplant them into your garden.
