As I expected, I had a fine time at the Garden Celebration at H.E.A.R.T in Lake Wales. What I did not expect was the size of the place and scale of gardening and permaculture experiments and projects there...very impressive. I also did not expect to come home with a husky grumichama, a fig (Italian Black?), a small comfrey plant, and two huge cool onions that Paul Saucier gave me....one MIGHT be a perennial non-bulber. Plus Cracker had fun mingling with adults and running with children and getting his first glimpse of goats. Nice day all around. As always, good to see Josh and Emily Jamison and Marabou Thomas. I'll be sharing some pics soon.
