I've been having trouble DAILY with squirrels digging 1-3 deep holes in my new kiddy pool Water Wise Container Garden I'd planted with "Fife Creek" okra. Sunday at the Tampa Rare Fruit Council meeting, neem farmer Vicki Parsons gave a wide ranging talk about neem and mentioned POSSIBLE squirrel repelling action. Late the last two afternoons I snapped off a few branches from the tree she gave me maybe 3 years ago when she took one of my classes...then it was a baby...now it is a TREE. I lightly mulched the garden with fresh leaves and the last 2 mornings I woke up to ZERO squirrel damage! So today I am replanting okra seeds and deep watering the garden......fingers crossed this is not a fluke!
