I am hearing this from lots of folks....I'm guessing because we finally had a wet summer. The seedling of the seedling of a 'Caribbean Red' papaya I bought in May 2011, that I THOUGHT was winding down, has begun a whole new blooming and fruiting cycle. The ripe fruits are not very tasty, but are great green in Thai stir fry. The plant is SO tall I have to use a long section of bamboo to knock off the fruits! It is in my front yard not far behind my mailbox.
