  2. John, the velvet beans I bought from you last year sprouted great. I now have them planted next to a bare chainlink fence in my backyard hoping that they will begin to cover it.

    I cannot, however, get the Florida beach beans to sprout. How should I do this?

  3. I also had VERY poor germination of the Beach Pea (Canavalia rosea) last year, but friends and I agree...the African Jack Bean is much more pleasant eating, so I am allocating quite a bit more of the back yard to it this summer. John
