works for me too. that spider is the same kind that descended from that bouqet of flowers you gave me for grandma years back. HUGE, particularly in the context of her coffee table. :)
Michael, there was a banana spider in Mary's bouquet? Yikes! They are harmless but scary looking, especially when 6 or more inches across. A full sized one got on my head while I was hiking with friends when I was 17....but I did not know that. I put my hand on my head to clear hair from my eyes and felt that huge egg-sized abdomen and panicked and started running and thrashing and screaming and wiping my head hysterically in a classic "spider dance" as my friends laughed like crazy. They were very common when I was kid....very rare now. Their webs can span 6-8 feet and are strong enough to catch small birds.
