Even though I've been enjoying raw pods, yesterday I enjoyed a skillet full cooked on high heat in coconut oil with sea salt and coarse back pepper. Each year I marvel how such a dwarf plant produces SO many pods that get SO long yet remain tender. Plus early each autumn my plants send out strong laterals that start a whole new wave of production!
Hey John do you still sell seeds by mail? I'd be interested in purchasing some of those okra seeds. The variety that I grow is definitely not that productive... My family loooves okra... Thanks again for all your wonderful posts

Thanks I have just some seeds to share locally. But it is now easy to buy it on line from a few seed companies, just Google it. Awesome variety!
