Sweet Cassava Plants For Sale

This fast growing tropical sub-shrub bears nutritious leaves that can be cooked and served much like collard greens, but it is the large starchy roots that have made it a staple of tropical peoples for many centuries. The 'yuca' served in Cuban restaurants, and tapioca are both derived from these roots. Winter is closing in, so plant these about 6 inches deeper than they are in their 1 gallon pots so they can re-emerge from the base next spring and summer after winter freezes.
