I don't know if it was psychological or physiological, but that rooster's meat filled me up VERY quickly and I STAYED full a very long time into the next day. As my long time friend Vicki Pollyea said in a touching e-mail, if more Americans grew and met their meat similarly, they would not eat so much of it and so mindlessly. Our health would often be better, and there would be a great less suffering caused by humans to animals, and much less environmental damage too.
